BTS DNA is a song from the Love Yourself: Answer album.

Due to the success of this song in the United States, BTS had the opportunity to perform the DNA at the American Music Awards (AMAs), marking BTS’s American TV debut. The song has also been featured on major American media outlets such as the James Corden show and the Late Late Show making BTS as the the first K-pop group to been invited. The album ‘DNA’ and ‘Love Yourself’ -‘Her’ enabled the BTS group to take the first steps towards a successful breakthrough in the American mainstream music industry.

BTS also became the first artist in Asia to win the Best Artist and Best Song award at the 2021 American Music Awards, marking a milestone of their journey after performing this song at the American Music Awards (AMAs) back in 2017.
