In addition to their studio albums, the group has also produced six compilation albums and six extended plays (EPs), such as The Most Beautiful Moment in Life series and Young Forever (2016).

In December 2018, BTS surpassed 10 million albums sold, setting a remarkable record for reaching the milestone in just 5½ years, the shortest time for any Korean group since the start of the 21st century.
